The Mama who started
it all, Leia
Our much loved family pet, Leia, is an AKC registered, 70 pound Golden Retriever, currently working towards her Canine Good Citizen certificate. Leia has passed DNA testing for inheritable genetic diseases and has passed OFA testing for heart, hips, elbows and eyes. This means Leia does not carry any of the typical golden retriever inheritable diseases that can be passed onto her offspring. She is smart, affectionate and loves to give high-fives for a cheesy snack.
Our first Goldendoodle Mama in Waiting, Rosie
Starting out as Jyn from our first litter of Goldendoodles, she was finally named Rosie after much family discussion. Rosie is a 55 lb Blue Merle Goldendoodle who is so very affectionate, smart and beautifully athletic.
Rosie passed her Embark DNA testing with flying colors (who wouldn't with excellent partents?!). Rosie underwent further testing in July to determine if her hips and elbows are healthy. Dependent upon those results, we are planning on breeding her during her next heat.
